Teaming Up with CAB
Carrotmob Isla Vista is focusing on the health of the Isla Vista business community and will not be limiting itself to just “GREENing” IV Market. The event will incorporate a Thanksgiving Day Food Drive hosted by the Community Affairs Board of UCSB. CAB does this event every year and last year brought 200 Thanksgiving bags to families at IV Elementary. So when you are shopping next Saturday make sure to remember to pick up some cans and staple Thanksgiving foods to put in the bin that will be posted outside the store.
